Position: IT Senior Mgr Oracle SCM
6 months Contract to Hire.

Location: Boca Raton, FL

 Summary:


The IT Senior Manager - Supply Chain is responsible for managing IT personnel including end user and third party provider activities pertaining to the design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation of Oracle EBS Supply Chain application product and services.  This position partners with Supply Chain leaders to deliver value-creating IT projects.

 Roles and Responsibilities:

    Responsible for overall management of team and assigned projects.
    Responsible for overall financial, scope, and critical path management for assigned projects.
    Manages the financial, time and resource aspects of project against a set budget and project plan.
    Resolves project related issues or operational issues impacting IT or business.
    Define service levels, service agreements, and manage IT operations.
    Review and evaluate work and prepare performance reports.
    Establish processes to identify, track, escalate, resolve, and report customer-related issues.
    Collaborate with the customer to define standards and measures for quality and customer satisfaction requirements.
    Assist and prepare the budget, forecast, and capital equipment reports.
    Coordinate system analysis and applications development activities through direct and indirect staff.
    Assist and recommend process and quality improvement activities for the organization.
    Performs as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.
    Provide vision and strategy for improvements.
    Lead and direct cross-functional teams in the areas of scheduling, technology direction, future planning, and standard development practices.
    Deliver schedule milestones on-time to ensure project/program objectives are met.
    Responsible for personnel decisions including performance review and hire/fire activities.
    Mentor employees on career development and performance improvement
    Manage and mentor supervisors, project leads and/or technical staff.
    Performs other duties as assigned.

 Education:

    Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience
    PMP Certification preferred

Experience:

    8 - 10 yrs

 Preferred Experience

    8 -10 years of total business experience with 4-6 years in Information Technology leading and implementing large-scale business systems.
    4-6 years Hands-on Oracle EBS experience specifically related to the following Oracle modules:  Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing and MSCA
    Proven ability to effectively drive change in a highly matrixed and decentralized organizational environment
    Previous Project Management Experience

Skills:

    Advanced knowledge of major package applications software.
    Advanced written and verbal communication skills including ability to develop presentations and present to management.
    Advanced background and understanding of business principles, practices and procedures
    Advanced problem solving and negotiation skills.
    Proven project management skills and experience Functional understanding of general financial principles.
    Leverages business and technical expertise across disciplines, demonstrating a high level of industry knowledge.
    Contributes to the strategic direction of the client group(s).
    May provide guidance to senior management.

    Able to leverage expertise across the business.  Advocates the benefits of technology solutions and process improvements in achieving higher levels of functional performance.
    Demonstrates a high level of industry and business knowledge
    Strong knowledge of IT Operational Processes, Project Lifecycle, Business Communications, Force-Ranking and Prioritization
    Able to manage multiple projects of various size simultaneously
    Manage Direct Reports
    Oracle EBS hands on experience in a leadership role
